Executive ability
Is quite an art, it’s true;
The art of taking credit for
The work the others do.

GOAT HILL
The legislature is fair game,
Their antics are abundant;
But jokes about our congressmen
Always seem redundant.

THE PASSING OF AN ERROR
Our past mistakes may come and go,
Though some are prone to stay;
A lesson that we fail to learn--
Until election day.
